Officials grounded for ride in Airbus A380 at LAX

An arcane state law bars elected leaders from accepting free transportation. The giant craft will take flight for 90 minutes. Hand-picked business leaders, journalists and residents will be among those experiencing what it’s like to ride on the world’s largest passenger jet during a demonstration flight today out of Los Angeles International Airport.
