Visiting Innovative Film City
Posted by in TravelVisitors to Bangalore (official name Bengaluru) in Karnataka, India may want to consider a trip to Innovative Film City or IFC. This fifty-acre entertainment center attracts around six million annual visitors. It is situated on the highway between Bengaluru and Mysore, at Bidadi.
Similar to Universal Studios in California, IFC features both a film studio and film institute. There are standing sets and films are shoot at the park. The theme park also has retail shops, theme restuarants, laser shows, fireworks, and stage shows in the 4D amphitheatre.
IFC is home to a Louis Tussad wax museum and a Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum. There is also a fossil museum as weel as Cartoon City and Dinosaur World. Some of the recreational attractions include a Funplex, a go karting zone, a mini golf course, and the Aqua Kingdom which is an artificial beach.
A day spent at IFC can add a lot of fun and relaxation to any trip to Bengaluru, especially for families. When planning a vacation, remember that there are a number of 5 star hotels in Bangalore as well as family-friendly resorts in the city. Most will be able to provide information on transportation and tickets for IFC.
Other places to see during a Banglore vacation include the famous Lal Bagh Glass House, the Tipu Sultan’s Palace, Bangalore Palace, Kemp Fort, and the Lord Shive Temple. There are also countless parks and gardens in Bangalore, including Lumbini Gardens, Cubbon Park, and Bannerghatta Naitonal Park.
