I love spending time outdoors. One of my most favorite things to do is eat dinner on the patio when the weather is nice. I got a beautiful outdoor rug and I put a few chairs and a table on it. My family loves it because they feel like it’s an extension of the house.
The rugs inside of my house are also great. I have an area rugs in the dining room, a shag rug in my daughter’s bedroom and rugs in the rest of the house.
And while I like all of them, I have to say that my favorite is the outdoor rug because since we’ve had it, my family spends a lot more time together. The kids run around and play while my husband grills and that frees me up to get a few things done inside. Then we sit down to eat and because there is no television, we find ourselves talking a lot and really connecting as a family.
I am in the process of building a new home for my family. It’s a very exciting time for us but I am also nervous about the move. We have been living in a 2 bedroom condo and now we will be moving into a 4 bedroom house with twice the square feet than where we are now.
One of the first things we have to do is hang blinds, especially on the windows that face the street. I wasn’t sure where to get window blinds in a hurry but I was lucky enough to find a Next Day Blinds listing in the Yellow Pages online.

I recently saw a Next Day Blinds commercial that inspired me to get custom blinds for my kitchen. I decided to go with plantation shutters that were stained the same color as my table. The room looks so much better now and I haven’t even painted the walls, which is next for that room.
Next Day Blinds had so much to choose from that I have decided to get new window treatments for every room in my house. I am going to get honeycomb blinds for my bedroom and roman blinds for the bathroom.
It is really amazing how new blinds, paint and a knickknack or two can change the entire appearance of a room.
I was looking for resources online for tips on decorating when I stumbled across a Next Day Blinds video. I found it to be very useful for idea on blinds and just window treatments in general. I was thinking about getting curtains but I changed my mind and decided to go with window blinds.
I love all of the blinds that they showed. There were honeycomb blinds and wood blinds. They even have bamboo blinds. The interior decorating blinds were great. I can’t believe that I never knew how great this project could be.
When I was in college, I always have icky plastic blinds because that was what the rent houses I lived in had. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money since I didn’t own the property and I knew that I would be moving. Now I wish that I had decided to buy my own house a long time ago because this is so much fun!
I am updating my house and I found some really wonderful deals at Next Day Blinds. The only problem is deciding on which ones to get. I like the bamboo blinds, vertical blinds and the wood blinds. But for my living room I think I’m going to get the honeycomb blinds.
After the living room, I’m going to spend some time working on the kitchen. I’ll need a new rugs, kitchen blinds from Next Day Blinds, of course, and maybe new countertops. My husband works as a market share strategist but his love is art and I think he’ll be able to help me decorate the place perfectly.
In addition to all of that, I think that I’m going to get roman blinds for the bathroom in a color that will match the new matching set of dishes and things. I’m thinking of a blue theme. Something calming and relaxing.
